What is a mini session, and how is it different from a regular session?
A mini session is a shorter, more focused version of a regular photo session. Typically lasting around 20-30 minutes, it’s designed to capture a few great shots quickly and efficiently. Unlike a full session, which might include multiple locations, outfit changes, and a wider variety of poses, a mini session is streamlined to give you high-quality images in a shorter timeframe. It’s perfect for occasions like holiday cards, where you just need a handful of great photos.
How many photos will I receive from a mini session?
You can expect anywhere from 7 to 10 proofs from a mini session. These photos are carefully selected and retouched to ensure you get the best results from your session. You will then choose your 3 favorite which are included in your session but additional can be purchased.
What should I wear to my mini session?
Coordinating outfits is key for a cohesive look in your holiday photos. Consider sticking to a color scheme that complements the season—think warm, earthy tones or festive reds and greens. Avoid overly busy patterns, and instead, opt for solid colors or subtle patterns that won’t distract from your faces. Also, remember to dress comfortably, especially for young children, to keep everyone happy and relaxed during the session.

Can I include extended family members or pets in the mini session?
Additional family members or pets are welcome in a mini session, but it’s best to confirm this when booking. Keep in mind that the time is limited, so if you’re including a larger group or pets, it may require some extra planning to ensure you get the shots you want within the session timeframe. Be sure to discuss your needs with your me ahead of time to make the most of your session.
